- Vehicle Drop-off and Condition: Clients must provide reasonably clean vehicles emptied of personal belongings. Vehicles with an excessive amount of personal belongings may be subject to an additional charge.
- Vehicle Assessment and Pre-existing Damage: We assess vehicles before detailing and document pre-existing damage. Clients can request a report upon request. We are not responsible for pre-existing damage.
- Satisfaction Guarantee: We offer a satisfaction guarantee for our detailing services. For Ceramic Coatings, Paint Protection Film, & Window Film, warranties are as specified by the manufacturer unless stated otherwise.
- Limitations of Results: While we strive for exceptional results, vehicle conditions may impact outcomes, especially for older or heavily worn vehicles.
- Post-Detailing Care: Clients are advised to avoid washing or exposing the vehicle to harsh conditions for the specified curing period. Detailed care instructions can be provided upon request.
- Cancellations and Rescheduling: Clients are encouraged to provide 24 hours' notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Cancellations with less notice may incur a $75 fee.
- Personal Belongings: While we protect personal belongings, clients should remove valuables before drop-off. We are not liable for loss or damage. Vehicles with excessive personal belongings may be charged an additional $75.
- Credit Card on File: A credit card is required to be put on file at the time of booking an appointment. If an appointment is canceled on the same day or results in a no-show, we reserve the right to charge the card on file up to a $75 cancellation fee and up to 50% of the service cost.
- Liability for Damage: We are not liable for any damage caused by the detailing process due to water pressure, chemicals, and the age of the vehicle.
- Window Tint: The legal tint percentages for South Carolina are as follows:some text
- Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
- Front Side Windows: Must allow more than 27% of light in.
- Back Side Windows: Must allow more than 27% of light in.
- Rear Window: Must allow more than 27% of light in.
- By opting for tinting below these legal percentages, the customer assumes all legal risks that may arise, and Southern Luxe Detailing LLC is not responsible for any consequences.
- Window Tint Continued: A reasonable amount of dirt, dust, and debris may be present in the film and can still be considered acceptable due to environmental conditions and the condition of the glass. We will do our best to install the film properly and will take additional measures to ensure minimal dust and debris.

Window Tint Terms

- South Carolina Tint Laws:some text
- Windshield: Non-reflective tint is allowed above the manufacturer's AS-1 line.
- Front Side Windows: Must allow more than 27% of light in.
- Back Side Windows: Must allow more than 27% of light in.
- Rear Window: Must allow more than 27% of light in.
- The above percentages refer to visible light transmission (VLT), the percentage of light that a tint film allows through. Reflective tint is not allowed on any windows, and the vehicle must have two side mirrors if the back windows are tinted.
- Legal Compliance:some text
- Customer Responsibility: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure compliance with the applicable laws in South Carolina. By choosing to install tinting below the legal limit, the customer assumes all legal risks and liabilities that may arise from non-compliance.
- Vehicle Inspection: If your vehicle fails an inspection or is cited for illegal tint, Southern Luxe Detailing LLC is not liable for the removal, replacement, or repair of any window tint.
- Warranty Information:some text
- Warranty Coverage: Our window tint installations come with a warranty that covers defects in material and workmanship for Lifetime (as long as you own the vehicle). This includes issues such as peeling, bubbling, or fading under normal usage conditions.
- Exclusions: The warranty does not cover damages caused by:some text
- Incorrect care or maintenance
- Improper installation or modifications by third parties
- Physical damage or abuse (e.g., scratches, impact, or vandalism)
- Environmental conditions (e.g., flooding, excessive heat)
- Alterations or changes to the original film
- Installation Considerations:some text
- Dirt and Debris: A reasonable amount of dirt, dust, and debris may be present in the film and still be considered acceptable due to environmental conditions and the condition of the glass. We will do our best to install the film properly and will take additional measures to ensure minimal dust and debris.
- Drying Time: Window tint requires a drying and curing period. During this time, it's normal to see haze, bubbles, or water pockets, which will gradually disappear.
- Care Instructions: Do not roll down windows for at least three days after installation, and avoid using harsh chemicals to clean the tinted surfaces.
